SSS Wednesday challenge - what's with the border?!

Hello! Today is the day of the new challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge blog. This time we "make it for the border" and focus on Memory Box products. You don't have to use them to participate but if you do have some, it would be great to air them! :)

Hello! Aujourd'hui il y a un nouveau défi sur le blog de Simon Says Stamp. Cette fois-ci nous utilisons des produits de la marque Memory Box et jouons en particulier avec les bordures. Vous n'êtes pas obligés d'utiliser ces produits pour participer au défi mais si vous en avez, et bien c'est tant mieux!

I used THIS border die and cut the cardstock three times to create this kind of a landscape. I inked up the cardstock partly (THIS, THIS, THIS and THIS Distress inks with the blending tool) and splattered with some water. The sentiment was white heat embossed and the card finished with THOSE gorgeous sequins.

J'ai utilisé CETTE découpe de bord pour découper le carton blanc 3 fois pour créer une espèce de paysage. J'ai ensuite encrés les cartons en partie (avec CETTE, CETTE, CETTE et CETTE couleur des encres Distress avec CET outil) puis mis un peu d'eau dessus. Le sentiment a été embossé en blanc à chaud. Et j'ai terminé en ajoutant CES splendides sequins.

Baby, baby...

Bonjour! Quand je fais des cadeaux de naissance, j'aime également faire une carte. Celles que je vous présente ici ont suivi la création de la carte du Lapin Voyageur. Voici la version "garçon":

Hello! When I make baby gifts, I also like to make a special card. Those that I am sharing today were inspired by the Travelling Bunny card. Here's the boy's version:

Pour faire les "nuages" j'ai du créer mon propre pochoir et pour le faire je me suis servie de découpes rondes, puis j'ai appliquer l'encre avec un "dauber" en masquant certains endroits puis en déplaçant le masque. Et c'est précisément le thème du défi de Simon Says Stamp.

To make the "clouds" I had to create my own stencil and I did it using round dies. Then I applied the ink using a finger dauber, masking some areas off and moving upwards. This is this week's theme over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge blog.
