Hello, Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday challenge blog has a new challenge, perfect for me, fun with felt. I don't have the plush dies they sell but am always making names with that material. So I quickly made one for Simon!
Comment je fais? Et bien, j'ai ces lettres trouvées il y a bien longtemps dans un journal de brico. Elles ont déjà beaucoup servies, d'après le nombre de trous...
How do I make them? Well, I have those letters found a very long time ago in a craft journal. They've served a lot, you can tell this by looking at the number of holes in them...
Je les attache à la feutrine avec une épingle puis découpe autours.
I stick them to felt and cut around with scissors.
Je découpe deux fois dans la feutrine et une fois dans du molleton puis je fais des "sandwiches"! :)
I cut a letter twice from felt and once from the white filling and then I make "sandwiches"! :)
Ensuite je cous tout autour et je m'amuse à les décorer avec différents points de broderie.
Then I stitch with garter stitch all around and have fun stitching over the letters with different points.
Parfois j'ajoute des sequins, pour les petites filles c'est parfait...
Sometimes, I add some sequins, these are perfect for little girls...
