And here is what I made using products from both Faber-Castell and myStamp BOX! I was in a great need of two birthday cards for yesterday. So I grabbed this wonderful Mixed Media yellow set and started creating! As what's in the package is coordinated it was easy peasy!

The first birthday card was for our grand-mother. As you can imagine she is an elderly lady so I wanted a classic card with a touch of elegance. First, I stamped and heat embossed some images from mSB (Abundant Blossoms set), then applied some golden Gelato, smearing it over the panel. Since it covers everything, I wiped out the excess from embossed areas with a baby wipe.

Then, I've added some golden accents with the Metallic Pen inside the flowers. For the background I've applied the same Metallic Pen DIRECTLY to a flower stamp and stamped on the card. It stamps perfectly, even without spraying with water!

My second card was for a cousin, someone young and energetic. So I wanted a card with modern elements. I took a piece of a printed paper and stamped some butterflies over it with ink coming from the Big Brush Pen that I applied directly to the stamp. This pen is incredible! And it's not simply yellow, it's Dark Naples ochre! :)

Here also, a simple application of ink on the stamp is enough for a perfectly stamped image. It gives a slightly watecolor look so it's so cool! The butterfly comes from one of my favorite sets, Colorful Companions. Sentiment on this card, as well as on the first one, is from Everyday Lines set.

I liked this technique so much that I continued stamping butterflies to make some simple, smaller cards.

Don't know for whom these might be but I'll be ready! (Just in case you've wondered, this last sentiment is from another versatile set, Mention it!)

And here's my creation: / Et voici ma création:

Among the products I received, there was this diamond shape, in beautiful neutral color and soooo thick! Just lovely! I decided to use it as a mini album's cover. I needed one to write down some words and sayings of my kids, too precious to lose them! So first I stamped and white embossed two stamps from Bold Blocks set to embellish the cover. Then I added some dye inks, sprayed them with a mixture of water and pigment powder and spread everything with my finger tips. :) Here's the result:

Parmi les produits que j'ai reçu, il y avait cette forme de diamant dans une magnifique couleur neutre et tellement épaisse! Splendide! J'ai décidé de l'utiliser comme couverture d'un mini album. J'avais besoin d'un petit quelque chose où noter ces précieux mots et expressions de mes deux loulous pour ne rien perdre! Tout d'abord, j'ai tamponné et embossé avec une poudre blanche deux tampons de set Bold Blocks. Ensuite, j'ai ajouté des encres Distress, sprayé le tout avec l'eau mélangée avec une poudre à pigment and étalé tout ça avec mes doigts! :) Voici le résultat:

I've added my kid's initials in the frame using letter from Lots of Dots set.

J'ai ajouté les initiales de mes enfants dans le cadre en utilisant les lettres du set Lots of Dots.

Then I needed some pages so I trimmed some cardstock to fit inside, distressed edges and stamped some journaling and date spots.

Ensuite, j'avais besoin des pages pour l'intérieur. Alors j'ai découpé du carton en lui donnant la même forme que la couverture, j'ai encré les bords et tamponné des endroits pour écrire.

As you can also see on the above picture, to hold everything together I used some screws. I was also because I plan this album to become even thicker as my kids have plenty to say! :)

Comme vous pouvez le constater sur la photo plus haut, pour relier le tout, j'ai utilisé les vis pour albums. C'était aussi parce que je projette y ajouter des pages puisque mes loulous ont plein de choses intéressantes à dire! :)

And here's what I made with my MYSTERY BOX. In fact there were two of those lovely, kraft boxes. And it was perfect since I wanted to make small gifts for my son's (and mine!) gym teachers (we do a parent/kid gym together). I couldn't resist the call of a simple white embossing on kraft and a splash of colorful embellishments. So first, I created a text block using words and letters from various mSB stamp sets. Most of the words are in English so as the bottom line I created the word MERCI (Thanks in French) using Many Dots set.

When this was ready I could go and stamp repeatedly the block twice on long sides of my boxes and once on the short side. I also stamped and embossed on the top flap.

Here's one finished box with its big bow, a handmade flower, a button and some twine to finish things off.

And what's better to offer to say thanks than homemade goodies? Here's a pic of what's inside my boxes!

And since my text block was still sitting on the acrylic mount, I did two matching cards. I removed the bottom line text though to make thing a bit lighter since the cards are smaller than boxes.

Hi everyone! Let's get introduced to Linda! Take it away, girl!

First of all, I'm so excited to be part of myStamp Box Design Team and really looking forward to get to know every one of you! My name is Linda Abadie. I am 35 years old. My husband and I have been married for 8 years and we have two children, Nicholas (6) and Christopher (3). I started scrapbooking in 2007 when my husband ARMY career took us to the far reaches of the globe. Most of my layouts was inspired by daily activity; either at home with my family or at work, nursing. I enjoy this hobby as it allows me to express and capture special heartfelt moments in my life. Some of my creations have been published in Memory Makers, Somerset Memories, Paper Trends, Card Maker and Card Creations magazine. Many of my friends consider my style as "eclectic", full of bright colors and happy. I love combining mixed media and hybrid scrapbook technique. I really hope that my work can inspire you to create more and let out your creativity be expressed through your layouts and cards...

Et voici mon premier projet. Une carte ultra simple qui utilise un set de tampons et deux couleurs d'encres.

Here's my first project. A very simple card using one stamp set and two inks.

Matériel: cdc Migros; tampons (Royal Flush) myStamp Box; encres: Ranger Ind. (Pumice Stone, Barn Door)

Et voici le projet numéro deux, aussi une carte qui utilise un de tout nouveaux sets de tampons, appelé Repeat After Me. Ce set contient ce long tampon imitation couture zig-zag que j'aime beaucoup! Je l'ai tout simplement plié pour lui donner une forme de demi coeur avant de tamponner.

And here's the project number two, also a card that uses a brand new stamp set called Repeat After Me. That set has this long zig-zag stitch stamp that I like a lot! I simply bent it in shape of a half heart before stamping.

Matériel: cdc Migros; tampons myStamp Box (Royal Flush, Repear After Me); Encres Ranger Ind (Worn Lipstick, Barn Door, Wild Honey); Precision Pen AC

Et voici un tuyaux pour obtenir un coeur parfait. Après avoir tamponné la première moitié, posez votre bloc acrylique sur la carte et façonnez le tampon pour qu'il recouvre le motif tamponné. Vous obtenez le négatif de la deuxième moitié du coeur...

And here's a little hint on how to obtain a perfect heart. After you've stamped the first half, lay down your acrylic mount on the card and bend the stamp so it recovers the stamped image. It's the negative image of the second half of the heart...

Hello from Boise, Idaho! I'm Michelle Philippi, a working mom, a wife, a cardmaker, and sometimes crafter. I just started cardmaking a year and a half ago, but I alway had that creative edge: I was always the person who took the present to the party with the perfectly wrapped box and the incredible handmade bow on top. But I don't have a lot of time. So I really make sure that what I do is easy and fun at the same time. I don't color images, and don't mess with rubber stamps - I swear by clear stamps because I don't have time to dilly dally and I need to see where I'm goin'! myStamp BOX for me is the perfect solution that can be incorporated in to lots of my creations be it a card or a little goodie bag.

Quand j'ai appris le thème de ce hop, j'ai tout de suite pensé aux centaines de photos qui d'habitude résultent de vacances et autres beaux jours. Elles finissent au mieux sur une ou deux pages scrappées mais il y a beaucoup qui ne voient même pas le jour. Alors je me suis dis que j'allais faire un cadre pour la plus belle de photo. Et notre dernier séjour en France tombe à point nommé - je pense que je n'aurai pas une meilleure photo!

When I learned the theme of this hop, I immediately thought about hundreds of pictures that we take during holidays and other beautiful days. They finish their life on a couple of scrapbook pages at best but many of them won't even see the light a the day. So I thought about creating a frame for the best of all the pictures. And our stay in France last week was just perfect - I don't think I'll have a better picture this year!

Voici comment j'ai fait ce cadre. Tout d'abord j'ai tamponné les nuages et les ai embossé avec de la poudre blanche.

Here's how I made it. First, I stamped the clouds and white heat embossed them.

Ensuite, j'ai appliqué deux teintes des encres Distress: Tumbled Glass et Broken China.

Then, I applied two Distress inks: Tumbled Glass and Broken China.

Ensuite, j'ai découpé le milieu de cette carte en suivant les contours de nuages. J'ai aussi fait un soleil de la même manière et préparé une bande qui me servira de pied pour faire tenir mon cadre debout.

Then, I cut out the middle of this card following clouds' shapes. I also made a Sun and prepared a paper strip that will help the frame stand.

Ensuite, j'ai placé des autocollants double-face derrière le cadre évidé le long de trois côtés.

Then, I placed some double-sided stickers behind the frame on three sides.

La dernière étape consiste à coller derrière une autre feuille de papier de la même taille, ainsi que coller le pied au bon endroit.

The last step is all about sticking another paper of the same size behind the frame and also about placing the holder in the right place.
