La honte... / Shameful...

Bonsoir! Oui, j'ai la honte parce que il y a comme une odeur d'un blog à l'abandon! C'est toujours la même chanson, le temps. Puis là, en plus, je découvre la merveille que Blogger nous a conçue et je suis toute perdue! Moi qui pensais poster quelque chose en vitesse... Enfin, revenons à nos moutons! Voici une page faite cette semaine avec ma fille à l'honneur, ou plus exactement ce sont ses cheveux dont je parle ici. Tout est parti d'un certain "paper pad" de MME, sorti tout droit de la tête d'une certaine Jen Allyson. Vous reconnaîtrez sans doute la collection Lost & Found 2 dont je suis fan. Enfin, je suis fan de tout ce que Mme Allyson dessine...

Hello! Yes, I'm shameful because there's a faint smell of neglect in the air of this blog! It's always the same story, time. And here I am, discovering the wonder that Blogger has put in place and I'm lost! Me who wanted to post something quickly!... Anyway, let's have a look... Here's a layout finished this week that's all about my daughter or more exactly about her hair. It's all started with this paper pad by MME, designed by a certain Jen Allyson (of whom I'm a devote fan!) You've surely recognized the Lost & Found 2 that I absolutely love!

 Ce que j'aime dans ces paper pads c'est que je ne suis pas obligée de découper quoi que ce soit. C'est naturellement possible mais je trouve interéssant de pouvoir jouer avec ces carrés sur une grande page...

What I like about those pads is that I'm not obliged to trim anything! It's naturally possible but I find it interesting to play with those squares on a larger page...

 Je ne pouvais pas me passer du motif récurant sur les pages de ma fille, des papillons. Cette fois-ci, j'ai perforé plusieurs fois un morceau de calque puis j'ai découpé le bord pour éliminer les restes des petits papillons (car c'est la perfo avec 3 papillons). Les papillons découpés se sont envolés plus loin... :) J'ai aussi tamponné un grand papillon sous le titre à gauche en bas...

I couldn't avoid using the motif I use all the time on layouts about my daughter. This time, I've punched a piece of vellum and trimmed the border to eliminate rests of smaller butterflies, also present in this punch. Then, those bigger ones flew farther on the layout... :) I've also stamped a large butterfly under the title on the left side...
The journaling says: "Since your hair got longer, I'm having fun trying out new hairstyles. Pony tails, braids, I'm having a go at almost everything! What's more, you let me do whatever I want. And that's my happiness."

OK, ça va être tout pour ce soir. Je vais aller au dodo puis quand j'aurai un moment je vais voir pour cette nouvelle interface. La nuit porte conseil, non? ;-)

OK, that's it for tonight. I'm going straight to bed. And when I'm all fresh I'm gonna see for that new interface. As we say in French, the night is a good counsellor! :)
