Champions

Bonsoir! Le temps passe je ne sais quand, déjà 12 jours depuis le dernier billet, l'horreur! :) Alors on se rattrape vite avec une nouvelle page, à ajouter dans l'album de l'année dernière. J'ai tout simplement rassemblé quelques expressions des enfants, y ai ajouté une photo et voilà!

Hello! Time flies so fast, can't even see it go! Already 12 days since the last post, terrible! :) So quick! A new layout to add to last year's album. I've simply gathered some expressions kids said at the time, added a picture and here we go! (The journaling says: "Daddy, you're a champion!" says K. when her father lets eyes drops into his eyes. "I'm a champion!" says K. again after manipulating the car radio to know how it works. "Mommy, you're a champion!" says J. seeing me putting on cross country skis. The same boy, in a true champion manner, tries out the same discipline and does really well! It's certain, with you on the team, we can only win!)

J'aime bien ce grand tampon de fond qui "rayonne", parfait pour placer une petite photo dans son centre. Surtout quand il est embossé à chaud avec une poudre légèrement rose et brilliante... Depuis que j'ai eu l'idée pour cette page, je savais que je voulais le mot "champions" en grand. Mais c'est seulement quand je m'y suis mise que je me suis souvenue de ce vieil alphabet transparent de Heidi Swapp. Il fallait juste d'un peu de couture pour le faire tenir en place.

I like so much this rays background stamp, perfect for placing a picture in its middle. Especially when it's heat embossed with a light pink and shiny powder... Since I had an idea for this layout, I knew I wanted the word "champions" spelled in large letters. But it was only when I started working on it, I remembered this old transparent alphabet by Heidi Swapp. All that was needed to hold it in place was a simple machine stitch.
