Victoire! / Victory!

Bonsoir! Oui, je peux crier victoire car mon projet qui m'a immobilisé pendant longtemps, est enfin terminé! Hmmm, depuis plus d'une semaine à vrai dire mais voilà, pour poster toutes ces photos, il me faut du courage! Et deux billets... Alors en voici le premier. Ce projet c'est un mini album avec nos souvenirs de l'été. Ma chère amie Alexandra en a réalisé un mais pour moi, envisager un tel projet AVANT les vacances c'était juste impossible. Mais l'idée a fait son chemin et finalement j'ai trouvé que c'est juste génial! Et bien probablement je renouvellerai l'expérience l'année prochaine, en mieux car en préparant la base de l'album avant l'été, comme l'a fait Alexandra...

Hello! Yes, I can be overwhelmed with joy since the project that kept me occupied for a long time is finally finished! Hmmm, for more than a week now but well, to post all the pics I need much courage and two posts! Here's the first one. The project is a mini album with our Summer memories. My dear friend Alexandra made one but for me, to prepare one BEFORE vacation was simply impossible. But the idea made its way in my head and finally I find it brilliant! And probably I will make one next year, too but as my friend did, preparing it before Summer...

La couverture a été réalisée de la même façon que ce qu'Alexandra montre ICI sauf qu'à la place de tissu, j'ai utilisé du papier. Un petit détail...

The cover was made as shown HERE by Alexandra with one difference. Instead of using fabric, I used paper. A little close up...

Voilà l'intérieur de la couverture et la première page. J'ai utilisé des tampons Hero Arts, des tags à imprimer d'Avital, un emporte pièce fleur et beaucoup, beaucoup de dentelle en papier!

Here's the inside cover and the first page. I used Hero Arts stamps, free printables from Avital, a flower punch and lots of paper doilies!

Un événement pouvait occuper une page ou plusieurs. J'ai tout de même voulu qu'une page double soit cohérente.

An event could occupy one page or more. Still, I was trying to aim at coherent spreads.

J'ai opté pour une mise en page simple mais je me suis permise des variations d'une page à l'autre.

I opted for a simple layout but made some changes from one spread to another.

Une chose qui se ressemble d'une page à l'autre c'est le "coin" tag + dentelle + fleurs + date.

One thing that's exactly the same throughout the album is the part tag + doily + flowers + date.
