Card Patterns #86

Bonjour!

Hello! It's Saturday so it's time for the new Card Patterns sketch!

We were able again to work with those beautiful stamps from Prickley Pear. I've chosen to try out the new technique of "ink bleeding" as proposed by Jennifer MacGuire in her class on Two Peas. It works like this: stamp your motifs on watercolor paper with Distress Inks then spray lightly with water. After cutting out the images you can add some Antique Linen and Walnut Stain to your images.

A bientôt alors!

Well, I'm not totally happy with the results because those stamps have some nice details that got lost during the process. But I'll try again! See you soon!

Love these leaves, Agata! I just bought some more watercolor paper today--I'm hooked, but used up the one sheet I had experimenting for the last sketch. I thought that rectangle in the center of this one will lend itself nicely to some more distress ink/watercolor paper techniques. Can't wait to play with it again. So glad you shared!! NICE card!!
