Profite / Enjoy

Hello, quand mon fils est né, plusieurs personnes me donnaient ce conseil: profite! Et à vrai dire c'était un peu difficile à comprendre. Mais plus le temps passe, plus je me rend compte que les moments que nous passons ensemble sont précieux et enfin je fais ce que mes amis me conseillaient - je profite. J'accepte (et donne à outrance parfois!) les bisous, câlins et... les selfies, pourquoi pas?!

Hello, when my son was born, some friends were giving me this advice: take advantage! And to say the truth, it was a bit hard to understand. But the more time passes, the more I realise that the moments we spend together are so precious. And finally I do what my friends were advising - I enjoy those moments. I accept (and generously give!) hugs, kisses and... selfies, why not?!

Un peu de Noël / A little bit of Christmas

Hello! Nouvelle année commence, tout le monde fait des résolutions. Il m'est difficile d'en faire, ça ne semble pas marcher avec moi. Mais j'ai un désir: réaliser plus de pages à mettre dans mes albums. Pour bien commencer l'année, en voici une, avec des souvenirs d'il y a deux ans mais tout est bon à prendre, n'est-ce pas? :)

Hello! The new year has started, everybody makes some New Year's resolutions. It's hard for me, it doesn't seem to work, ever. But I have a desire which is to put more of those pages into my scrapbook albums, get back on track. So, to start the year well, here's the first one. Some two year old memories but all is good, right? :)

 Un peu de tamponnage, des vieux mais beaux papiers, des découpes et surtout cette petite histoire qui me fait toujours rire. Mes enfants en maîtres absolus de la cuisine!

A bit of stamping, some old but beautiful papers, some die-cuts and most of all this little story that still makes me laugh. See, that year, when it came to making the Christmas cookie baking, all I had right to do was to make the dough and put the cookies on a baking sheet and into the oven. The kids took care of all the rest. And if I really wanted to have the pleasure of making those cookies myself, well, I had to wait that my elves were asleep and then sneak into the kitchen...

And here's a card's project that I made apart from all those from the Scrapdeco's card inspiration kit.

 Simple tamponnage sur papier kraft et coloriage avec un crayon blanc.

Simple stamping on kraft and colouring with white pencil.

 Et encore un aperçu des cadeaux faits pour les maîtresses et amis. Un projet, différents papiers et coloriages. Je me suis bien amusée!

 Bonsoir, une simple page pour bien démarrer la semaine. J'ai utilisé des papiers que je croyais jamais pouvoir utiliser. Mais maintenant que mon garçon grandit, les choses vont peut-être changer. Et voici la première page d'une série? :)

Hello, tonight a simple layout to well start the week.  I used papers I thought I'd never use. But now that my boy's growing things might change a bit. And here's the first out of many layouts? :)

Donc, papiers de Graphic 45, le fond tamponné avec le tampon de fond de Hero Arts, le titre de Avery Elle's et les chipboards de Basic Grey. Accents de Memory Makers, American Crafts et Studio Calico. 

So, Graphic 45 papers, background stamped with a Hero Arts bg stamp, the title stamped with Avery Elle's and chipboards by Basic Grey. Embellishments by Memory Makers, American Crafts and Studio Calico. The story is about my son who started reading a daily journal (sometimes out loud!) , not a big one but simple and clear enough for an 8 year old to understand the news. A little story worth remembering...

Deux en un / Two in one

Hello! Oups, je n'ai pas vu la semaine défiler et voilà que déjà 9 jours sont passés depuis le dernier poste. Alors il est temps d'y remédier! Et tans qu'à faire, non avec une mais avec deux pages. Surtout qu'elles sont sur le même thème. En effet, mes enfants ont fait le même camp cet été et comme cela arrive d'habitude, ils s'y font des amis.

Hello, well, I must admit I don't know how this week went by! And it's already 9 days since my last post. It's time to remedy this problem and I'll do it with not one but two layouts. Especially that they are on the same theme. My kids went to the same Summer camp and, as it usually happens, made new good friends there.

Alors voici la page "garçon" avec quelques embellissements, les jours de la semaine et un (très) vieux papier de BG.

Here's the "boy" layout with some embellishments, stamped week days and some (very) old paper by BG.

Et voilà la page "fille", en un autre format, plus de couleurs, les mêmes jours de la semaine mais en couleur et je crois qu'il n'y a pas de doute, je me suis lâchée sur les embellissements!

Here's the "girl" layout, with much more color, the same stamped week days but in color and I think there's no doubt, I had good time with embellishments!

Dame Neige, où es-tu? / Snow, where are you?

Bonsoir! Je ne sais pas comment est l'hiver chez vous mais chez nous pour l'instant, c'est une catastrophe! Enfin, hier soir, il a neigé un peu mais juste un peu! Et ça ne va pas tenir... Alors, voilà, je me suis dit que je pourrai enfin poster cette page faite il y a un moment déjà pour se rappeler à quoi cela ressemble, la vraie neige! :)

Ca tombe! / Falling...

Bonjour! Dernièrement j'avais très envie de revenir à un style très C&S, faire une page sans trop de fioritures mais par contre avec un petit détail qui tue (ou pas, c'est selon...) L'occasion s'est trouvée presque toute seule avec la disparition de deux dents de notre grand.

Hello! Lately I was feeling very much like making a very C&S layout, without too much adornments but with just one special detail. The occasion came along with our son's two front teeth falling out in 4 days time.

Le petit détail c'est évidemment le trou dans le papier imprimé qui remplace le "o" dans "aeration" et qui est sensé faire allusion au trou dans la dentition, et les 2 attaches parisiennes pour les 2 dents.

The small detail is the hole punched in the patterned paper that replaces the "o" in "aeration" word and that's supposed to make the allusion to the hole in my son's mouth, plus the 2 brads for the 2 teeth.

Que j'aime ce sourire, avec ou sans les dents!...

I love that smile so much, with or without the teeth!...

Bonsoir, le retard s'accumule dans le postage ici, maladie n'aidant pas. Une grippe s'est invitée chez nous mais on lui a dit de s'en aller. :) Mais pour l'instant je poste en vitesse une page finie depuis bien une semaine.

Hello, I'm getting late in posting here, sickness's not helping. A flu invited itself at our home but we told it to go away. :) So for the moment, I'm posting quickly, nice and sweet. A layout ready for more than a week now.
