 Quand je l'ai vu j'ai tout de suite pensé au médaillon qu'on décerne aux gagnants et j'ai réalisé le mien avec un morceau de (très) vieux papier Burda... Mais pour que ça marche j'ai du tourner le sketch de 90°.

When I saw it, I've immediately thought of the prizes that the winners get and I made mine out of a piece of a (very) old Burda paper... But for it to work, I had to tilt the sketch 90° to the right.

Hello, Yesterday my son was invited to a friend's birthday party. As the tradition wants it, I made a card for him. And this is just perfect for the last SSS Wednesday challenge!

Tamponnages, superposition, encrage, quelques taches, embossage à chaud et quelques autres éléments c'est ma recette pour cette carte.

Idée fixe

 Bonsoir, après l'agitation des Fêtes, j'ai eu un petit moment créatif à mon bureau. Je l'ai passé à réaliser des cartes à base d'une idée qui me trottait dans la tête depuis un moment. Alors maintenant on va jouer au jeux "cherchez la différence"! :)

Hello! After the effervescence of Christmas, I had a free moment that I spent at my desk exploring an idea that was in my head for a while. And now we're going to play the game "seek the difference"! :)

Ici, j'ai utilisé des nouvelles poudres à embosser WOW! avec des paillettes.

Here I used new WOW! glitter embossing powders.

Sur les deux cartes suivantes c'était soit les encres Distress, soit des Hero Arts et Jenni Bowlin. Et pour le brillant, j'ai sorti le stylo "Wink of Stella".

On the two following cards I used either Distress inks or Hero Arts or Jenni Bowlin. And for the shiny part, I took the "Wink of Stella" pen.

Et pour les tampons, ce sont des vieilles boîtes de myStamp Box (et un sentiment de Hero Arts).

And for the stamps, these are my old trusty myStamp Box sets (and one Hero Arts sentiment).

Rhaaaaaaa!!!!!

 Hellooooo! Bon, ben, du temps et de l'eau s'est écoulé depuis le dernier poste. Il faut avouer que le travail ne manque pas en cette période de fin d'année. Alors voici une petite séance de rattrapage. Plus particulièrement deux cartes faites pour deux échanges de cartes organisés par Deborah.

Hellooooo! Well, quite some time and water has passed since the last post. It's no secret that in this period of the year there's enough work for more than just few short weeks. So here's some catching up with two cards made for the CCC organised by Deborah.

J'ai réalisé celle de octobre en embossant des feuilles et en les coloriant avec des poudres Perfect Pearls.

The one for October was made by heat embossing some leaves and colouring them with Perfect Pearls powder.

Celle de novembre annonce la couleur des autres créations de la saison...

Fier / Proud

 Hello! Tout le matériel nécessaire pour cette page c'est accumulé petit à petit. D'abord, la photo. Une des première prises cette année (et un t-shirt vert pomme qui jure à fond avec le rouge de LEGO) Puis ce trombone en forme de croix suisse reçu il y a quelque temps. Et encore ce papier avec des petites croix qui vient d'un des kits carterie Scrapdeco. Et enfin, la petite histoire. Le reste, c'est à dire le "mariage" entre tous ces éléments, est devant vos yeux.

Hello! All the materials necessary for this layout came to me little by little. First, the picture, one of the first taken this year (with a bright green t-shirt totally in discord with the red LEGO bricks). Then, the Red Cross pin received some time ago. And that square cross patterned paper that came with one of Scrapdeco card kit. And finally, the story. The rest, meaning the "marriage" between all those things, is in front of your eyes.

Noël c'est pour bientôt! / Christmas is coming fast!

Hello! Eh oui, Noël n'est plus très loin, les jours passent à une vitesse supersonique. Mais avant de tourner mon regard en avant, j'ai tourné la tête en arrière. Et j'évoque une souvenir de Noël dernier. J'ai utilisé les papiers de Simple Stories et les tampons de myStamp Box.

Hello, yes indeed, Christmas is near, days are passing by at a supersonic speed. But before I look ahead, I'm taking a look behind. And I'm remembering what happened last Christmas. Namely, my son whom I caught eating properly at a family meeting (we seem to pass our time at the table correcting him and encouraging to have proper manners). When I complimented him and expressed my surprise, he answered: Why? I'm not at home! :)

J'ai adoré cet arbre dans le coin de la page et j'ai ajouté un peu de paillettes sur quelques cercles.

I loved this tree since the moment I saw it and adorned it with some glitter.

Bonjour! Aujourd'hui, un peu de tamponnage. En l'occurrence, les étiquettes pour les cadeaux de fin d'année scolaire. Un tampon de fond en gris, un motif et des lettres en noir. Et le tour est joué! C'est simple mais bluffant à la fois, ma fille ne voulait presque pas me croire que j'ai tout tamponné moi-même!

Hello! I've got some stamping for you today, some gift tags that were offered at the end of the school year. A background stamp in grey, subjects and letters in black. And that's it! It's simple and effective, my daughter wouldn't believe that I stamped those myself (she thought it was printed!)

Sinon, c'est parti pour le nouveau kit carterie de Scrapdeco. Voici une carte dont la fausse jumelle est présente sur le blog ainsi qu'une autre carte. Un kit plein de bonne humeur, comme j'aime!

Otherwise, here we go for the new Scrapdeco card kit. Here's one card I made and which has a false twin on the blog as well as another card. A kit full of good humour, just as I like it!

Cartes de Pâques / Easter cards

Hello! Prise d'un soudain élan créatif (et surtout en face d'un délai on ne peut plus urgent!), j'ai créé deux cartes de Pâques. 

Hiya! Feeling suddenly creative (and most of all, facing a fast approaching deadline!), I made two Easter cards today.

Pour colorier les oeufs, j'ai utiliser les crayons Neocolor II en prélevant la couleur directement avec un pinceau mouillé (comme l'explique Alexandra ICI). Pour un peu plus de touche spéciale, j'ai ajouté dans l'eau un peu de poudre à pigment. J'ai toujours aimé ce qui brille...

I colored the eggs using Neocolor II crayons picking up color directly with a wet brush (as explained by Alexandra HERE). For a bit more of piazza, I've added to my water some pigment powder. I've always loved what's shiny...

Edition 2013

Bonsoir! Aujourd'hui nous avons recommencé l'école, cette fois nos deux enfants ont pris la même route... Une journée forte en émotions! Sûrement un sujet digne d'une page. Mais moi je vais vous montrer tout autre chose ce soir, une page sur notre "traditionnelle" presque photo de famille. Mes beaux-parents nous en demandent de temps à autre et je trouve que c'est sympa de les regarder ces clichés. Un seulement était pratiquement parfait et c'est justement cette photo que j'ai gardé en couleur sur ma page. Mais comme les autres montrent le processus et en plus elles sont rigolotes, je les ai mises aussi. 

Hello! Today school has started here, this time both of our kids took the same road... A day full of emotions! Surely a subject for a layout. But tonight I want to show you something else, a layout about our almost "traditional" family picture. My in-laws ask us from time to time to take a new one and I must admit from the time perspective that it is nice to look at those pics. Only one this time was almost perfect and I kept it in colour on my page. But the other ones were quite funny so I put them there, too.

Le choix de couleurs m'était donc dicté par la grande photo. J'ai trouvé des papier correspondants dans le bloc de papier de Basic Grey "Serenade". Les papillons sont de SEI. Le titre, ah le titre! J'en rêvais de ces tampons et finalement je les ai reçus! Ce sont des grosses lettres de myStamp Box. Parfaites pour réaliser des titres. Elles existent aussi en version "outline", juste en trait fin (ICI pour les curieuses).

The colour choice was dictated by the big picture. I've found coordinated papers in Basic Grey's "Serenade" paper pad. The butterflies are by SEI. And the title, oh the title! I was dreaming about those stamps and finally I received them. These are Tall Solids by myStamp Box. Perfect for titles on layouts! They exist also in the outline version (HERE for the curious ones).

Changements / Change

Hello! Pas de panique, ici, pas de changements. Mais dans deux semaines un sacré changement s'opérera dans la vie de notre famille: nos DEUX enfants iront ensemble à l'école. Une nouvelle époque, un changement digne d'une page. Pour cela j'ai eu le plaisir énorme de travailler avec la nouvelle collection de Crate Paper, The Pier. Et également les grands tampons lettres de myStamp Box.

Hello! No panic, no change here on the blog. But in two weeks a big change will take place in the life of our family: our TWO children will go together to school. We're turning a new leaf, a change worthy of a layout. For which I had an enormous pleasure of working with the new Crate Paper's collection, The Pier. And also with big letter stamps by myStamp Box.

Tout est beau dans cette collection: les couleurs, les motifs, les embellissements... A suivre!

Everything is beautiful in that collection: colors, patterns, embellishments... To be continued!

Les dernières... / The last ones...

Bonsoir! Demain est mon dernier jour dans l'équipe créative de myStamp Box. Et j'ai encore quelques projets à montrer, en guise d'adieux. Voici la première cartes, dans le chapitre d'arc-en-ciel. Lequel j'ai tamponné avec la fausse couture zig-zag du set Repeat After Me.

Hello! Tomorrow is my last day on myStamp Box DT. And I still have some projects to show, as a goodbye. Here's the first card, in the rainbow chapter. I stamped it with the faux zig-zag stitching from Repeat After Me set.

L'année dernière nous avons fait une ronde des blogs avec des boîtes. A l'époque j'avais embellie la mienne en tamponnant plusieurs mots de différents sets. Puisque les mots étaient toujours sur le bloc, j'ai fait cette carte mais en couleur!

Last year we had a "in the box" blog hop. I embellished mine with a composition of sentiments from various sets. While all those were still on my acrylic bloc, I made this card but in color!

Et la troisième, un rejet d'un appel des cartes. Toute simple. Mais que faut-il de plus pour se dire qu'on s'aime? :)

And the third one, a reject from a recent cards call. Very simple. But do we need more to say "I love you"? :)

En tout cas, les deux années que j'ai passé en tant que membre de cette équipe étaient des années bien investies. J'ai rencontré plein de gens sympas, travaillé avec du bon matos, j'ai appris une tonnes des choses... Et je leur dis: A bientôt!

Anyway, these two years I passed as DT member were well invested. I met some cool people, worked with an excellent materials, learned plenty of things... So I say: See you soon!

And here is what I made using products from both Faber-Castell and myStamp BOX! I was in a great need of two birthday cards for yesterday. So I grabbed this wonderful Mixed Media yellow set and started creating! As what's in the package is coordinated it was easy peasy!

The first birthday card was for our grand-mother. As you can imagine she is an elderly lady so I wanted a classic card with a touch of elegance. First, I stamped and heat embossed some images from mSB (Abundant Blossoms set), then applied some golden Gelato, smearing it over the panel. Since it covers everything, I wiped out the excess from embossed areas with a baby wipe.

Then, I've added some golden accents with the Metallic Pen inside the flowers. For the background I've applied the same Metallic Pen DIRECTLY to a flower stamp and stamped on the card. It stamps perfectly, even without spraying with water!

My second card was for a cousin, someone young and energetic. So I wanted a card with modern elements. I took a piece of a printed paper and stamped some butterflies over it with ink coming from the Big Brush Pen that I applied directly to the stamp. This pen is incredible! And it's not simply yellow, it's Dark Naples ochre! :)

Here also, a simple application of ink on the stamp is enough for a perfectly stamped image. It gives a slightly watecolor look so it's so cool! The butterfly comes from one of my favorite sets, Colorful Companions. Sentiment on this card, as well as on the first one, is from Everyday Lines set.

I liked this technique so much that I continued stamping butterflies to make some simple, smaller cards.

Don't know for whom these might be but I'll be ready! (Just in case you've wondered, this last sentiment is from another versatile set, Mention it!)

Bonjour! Comme promis hier, voici quelque chose dans le chapitre du scrap aujourd'hui. Mais il va falloir se promener pour tout voir! Et oui, c'est mon tour de blogguer sur le blog de la compagnie myStamp Box. Comme l'indique le titre de mon billet, c'est la dernière fois que je vous envoie vous promener! :) En effet, j'ai décidé de quitter l'équipe créative. Après deux ans, il est temps de laisser la place pour du talent frais! Ce n'est pas pour autant que je vais arrêter d'utiliser les tampons mSB! J'en ai trop l'habitude maintenant! As the title says, it's the last time I'm blogging over there. I have decided to step down from the crew. After two years, it's high time to leave the spot for some fresh talent! C'est la fête! / It's party time!

Hello les amis! A quoi pensez-vous quand on vous dit: Carnaval? Et bien, moi j'ai pensé couleurs, rires et bruit! :) Tous ces éléments étaient bien présents quand nous avons fêté les 3 ans de ma fille. Nous avons invité la famille et quelques amis malgré l'événement triste de la semaine. J'ai pris quelques photos de nos jeunes invités qui étaient bien occupés à manger du gâteau au chocolat ou à découvrir les cadeaux offert à la "jubilaire"! Parfait pour faire un mini haut en couleurs! J'ai utilisé des papiers d'une collection de My Little Shoebox.

Hello friends! What do you think of when you hear: "Mardi Gras"? I thought colors, laughter et noise! :) All those elements were present when we had my daughter's birthday party. We've invited family and friends in spite of the sad event of the week. I took some portraits of our young guests that were very much occupied by eating the chocolate cake and watching the gifts being open! It was perfect for a colorful mini album. I used papers from a collection by My Little Shoebox.

La structure est très simple - les cartons rectangulaires recouverts de photos et morceaux de papiers. Pour les protéger j'ai fait une couverture en morceaux de plastique d'emballage semi transparent. J'y ai embossé quelques tampons de myStamp Box puis collé aussi la bougie du gâteau. Le tout est maintenu ensemble par un anneau assorti.

The structure is very simple - rectangles made of cardstock and covered with pictures and patterned papers. To protect them I made covers from recycled plastic packaging half transparent. I've embossed there some myStamp Box stamps and adhered the cake's candle. The whole album is hold with an assorted cercle.

Sur quelques papiers j'ai ajouter des touches de Stickles pour encore plus de brilliant.

On some papers I've added some Stickles for even more shine.

Au deux endroits j'ai ajouté les cartes de journaling qui sont cachées derrière les photos. On peut les sortir en tirant sur la ficelle.

On two pages I've added some journaling cards that are hidden behind pictures. One can pull them out with the twine.

Ici vous pouvez mieux apercevoir la couverture en plastique avec les motifs embossés. Sur celle de la fin j'ai aussi tamponné un phrase qui provient d'un nouveau set des tampons que j'aime beaucoup.

Here you can better see the plastic cover with some embossed images. On the back cover I've also stamped a sentiment from one of the new stamp sets released during Winter CHA.
