2 chapitres / 2 chapters

Bonjour!

Hello! I've got two cards to show you today. The first one goes for three challenges. It's based on Kim Kesti's sketch for Skipping Stones Design. I used the color combo from Play Date Café (the flower is much less orange in real life since I used the Tea Dye Distress ink to color it). Hopefully this can be seen in the detail picture. And the theme, happy birthday, goes with Caardvarks July challenge. Would anyone like to receive a card with a flower like that?

The flower was made with tissue paper that I kept from some clothing package. This paper is perfect to make this kind of embellishments, you can color and crumple. The button comes from my Mom, I didn't even remember that I had it but was very happy to find it!

The second card is for the Embellish Magazine's challenge. A beautiful color palette: brown, kraft, orange and turquoise, plus some ric-rac. I cut the kraft part with scissors to imitate the ric-rac but also added some real one.

I was aiming at the elegant style so I could enter this card into the style challenge on Moxie Fab World. Did I miss?... Have a nice day!
