When I said the other day that while making the card I have had another idea, it wasn't a joke. I'm back to show it to you with some images. It's all about ribbon flowers.

First of all, things you need: fine ribbon, thread in an appropriate color and a needle.

Step 1° - fold your ribbon in half, make a knot at the end of your thread and start stitching both edges together.

Step 2° - after sewing a little bit, pull on the thread to ruffle the ribbon. And continue like this: step 1 and step 2.

Step 3° - after a while you'll have a nice ruffled piece of ribbon. But don't cut it off just yet!

Step 4° - take another thread and start stitching your flower in spirals. You only need to stitch underneath with small stitches. It's a bit hard to explain, the second picture will help, I hope...

Step 5° - probably you'll have to adjust the ruffles as you stitch. It will be useful that you didn't cut your ribon. When everything is adjusted, you can cut the ribbon and finish stitching.

Step 6° - with yet another therad stitch some pearls in the middle of your flower. And that's it!

Come ceci:

The size of your flower may be modified if you use a larger ribbon. There's nothing more for you to do as to attach your flower to one of your beautiful creations. Just like this:

Have fun with these! If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask them! And to show what you've done!
